Raised in Dorado, Puerto Rico, Jorge Miguel Rivera-Herrans (nicknamed "Jay") is an artist dedicated to perfecting the craft of storytelling. His non-traditional approach to songwriting, which includes pulling inspiration from seemingly dissonant mediums, allows him to create works of art for any audience.
Jorge has cultivated notable online followings and communities of 410,000 on TikTok, 15,000 on Discord, and more across other platforms.
Jorge's greatest inspirations come from video games and animation. In his stories, he aims to emulate the addictive sense of progression often seen in video games. He aims to write stories with larger than life themes and characters.
His current project is the upcoming Odyssey-inspired musical EPIC.

EPIC
The Musical
A reimagining of one of the oldest hero's journeys of all time
-EPIC is a loose musical adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey.
-The storytelling is inspired by video games and animation/anime.
-As events, characters, and locations become more magical and divine, more electronic elements are incorporated into the music.
-40 songs. Completely sung-through.
-The musical is divided into 9 "sagas," with five sagas in Act 1 and four sagas in Act 2.
-Total runtime: 2 hours 16 minutes
-The EPIC concept album will be releasing in sagas on all major music streaming platforms, with the first saga aiming to be released by the end of 2022.
